On Episode 80, we chat to Northern Territory guide Glenn Watt. Glenn owns and operates Barefoot Fishing Safaris out of Bynoe Harbour and Darwin Harbour. Even though Watty drinks Great Northern, we still had a great chat about the massively overlooked potential of Bynoe and Darwin Harbour as an epic flyfishing destination. Stories of Massive schools of Goldies, Threadies, bastards and permit on flats that get driven over in search of Barramundi, and an incredible pelagic fishery that is al but ignored again due the popularity of Barramundi... not that there is anything wrong with Barra. Glenn is an operator up there that is trying to shine the light on what most of Australia look either side of. Open up Google maps and have a listen to the image Glenn presents and maybe you will consider the NT as your next saltwater flyfishing destination. It sounds incredible to us!!
