Ernie L. Vecchio, a mentor, spiritual teacher and trauma psychologist and a Licensed Clinical & Rehabilitation Psychologist who has written four books including his latest release, Feelings & Reason: Activating Your Heart as Compass Despite the Ego’s Interference, an international best-seller in four self-help categories joins eHealth Radio and the Health News and Mental Health Channels.
Listen to interview with host Eric Michaels & guest Ernie L. Vecchio discuss the following:
Ernie L. Vecchio is a psycho-spiritual mentor and thought leader offering contemporary wisdom on human suffering. As a trauma psychologist whose career spans 30+ years, he has treated over 10,000+ patients who suffered severe trauma that ranged from amputation, head injury, sexual assault, and paralysis. He discovered a common theme in their suffering and developed a healthy way for people to cope with adversity.
Vecchio reveals a developmental understanding of how adversity becomes an opportunity for self-correction, growth, and healing. By acknowledging the human ego is only one-third of a larger system, people learn not only what is observing their life, but why and where it is intending for them to go.
Vecchio is the author of four books that includes his latest release, Feelings & Reason: Activating Your Heart as Compass Despite the Ego’s Interference, an international best-seller. In the book, professional helpers and seekers are introduced to a developmental and new psychological theory about human suffering that merges with secular spirituality. It is the missing piece in the mental health model and advances the mind, body and spirit movement. In essence, when one utilizes the heart as a compass, the road less traveled (inward journey) presents us with a reliable map toward self-recovery and our fullest expression.
