Twenty years ago, our church community experienced a terrible tragedy when Lisa and Art Sandberg's 16 year old son, Cory, was killed in a car accident. The level of disappointment that the Sandberg's experienced was unimaginable. And if we're honest, everyone experiences disappointments over the course of life. In 1 Peter 5:10-12, the author writes that God will help those who suffer, but how does he do this? And how are we deal with disappointment? In this sermon, pastor Luke shared Cory's story while talking about how to deal with disappointment, which includes always trusting Jesus -- because we don't know the whole story.
