The PadreCast - Faithful Catholic Homilies
Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
It becomes dangerous, in fact deadly, to a culture and a society when the political law begins to contradict the natural law. It inherently destroys that society. That's obviously where we are in our culture. Our politic is destroying us because it contradicts the very commandments themselves, the natural order of things created by God.
But we as Catholics, we have something far greater than the natural law, or even a decent understanding of politic. We have Divine law. And we don't always appreciate how profound this is. We have been given, for lack of a better term, mystical teaching. We know things ... that no one in this world could know on their own, that the natural law could never teach them.
