To address the challenge, Lindsay and priority co-author, Dr. Katherine Friesen, identified the importance of understanding the current state of leadership education, including educator preparation, comprehension of encountered issues, and implementing a systematic approach using new methodologies, evidence, and diverse viewpoints that recognize the interdisciplinary approaches available for advancing the field.
