Movies can give us the opportunity to get away from our everyday life and problems, but they can also take us into deeper and darker situations that will leave us scarred and thinking… what did I just watch? This is the case with 1996’s Fargo. A classic movie directed by the Coen brothers about a desperate man that will do whatever it takes to obtain some much-needed movie. He’s desperate enough that he’s willing to arrange the kidnapping of his wife, so his rich father in law and pay the kidnappers a large enough ransom so Jerry, the lovely husband, can get the money he needs and all will be forgotten. With such an elaborate plan nothing can go wrong, right? Let’s talk about Fargo now, on another exciting episode of A Cast to the Past!
