We’re going to close this Masters of Life series with Dr. Gerald Jampalsky, one of the great pioneers in personal development.
A person who has begun to master life is one who is open to perspectives other than his or her own.
In being open, we discover pathways to connecting rather than dividing ourselves across the battle lines of “right” and "wrong.”
Jampalsky asks the question who’s very exploration inspires us to cease struggling and begin to live in peace.
If ever there were words to be emblazoned on your wall, tattooed on your forehead, or at the very least repeated constantly in our mind, it’s this:
“Do I want to be right or do I want to be happy?”
Giving up the need to be right, frees us to be happy, effective, creative, and peaceful.
Ask yourself today, as often as you can today, “Do I want to be right or do I want to be happy?”
