A Visit with Photographer and Filmmaker Michael Ford

Tracy Carr visits with photographer and documentary filmmaker Michael Ford about his book and film, North Mississippi Homeplace.

Michael moved his family to Oxford from Boston in the 1970s and spent years photographing and filming his experiences in the unfamiliar state he now called home.  

In 2014 his collection of photos and film were acquired by the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress.
