Fire and Water with Quanita Roberson
Society & Culture
What is the difference between an elder versus someone who is a teacher or a guide with the acknowledgment that an individual can inhabit all of these identities or two or one. Eldering as recognizing learning as learning or studying aspects of the self removed by proximity in order to see the whole more clearly, or at different perspectives. You are the other and the other is you. This is why the presence of an elder can facilitate one opening more deeply to different aspects of oneself.
