This week, we were joined by Melissa, who is a trainee teacher and SEND advocate. We invited Melissa onto the podcast because she is so passionate about children's rights and she kindly shared her own experiences of ADHD and Dyslexia. The early years is not a homogenous group, and we thought it was important to highlight that we each come with our own identities, diversities, traits, differences and struggles. This episode gets us thinking about how we equip our children with a strong sense of identity when they have learning differences, and if we don't see children's strengths what implications does this have? We hope you enjoy!
