Please Don’t Send Me into Outer Space
TV & Film
This week, we watched what we all consider to be a classic of the recently deceased variety, the movie Beetlejuice. In the year of our Lord 1988, that young upstart Tim Burton was still showing us what he was made of. His follow up to Pee-wee's Big Adventure was this movie, and although it took a slightly more adult tone than the former it should still be viewed through a lense of childhood joy. His plaything were these movies, these stories, and we were very lucky to experience them at the time, in their time. If you haven't seen Beetlejuice in a while, I suggest you give it a watch. Remember the things that made you laugh then, and enjoy the experience again now. AND FOR GOD'S SAKE STOP COMPARING IT TO THE CARTOON
