When the BioMass Hits the Wind Turbine
Society & Culture
Olivier Turpin and his family moved to a small village north of Paris and began their quest to live sustainably. They installed wood heat, solar panels, bought an electric car, and then installed a small wind turbine. That is when the problems began. Soon the Mayor and the Catholic church were issuing demands. The police showed up and threatened to arrest him and have him fired from his job.
Join Annie and Jay Warmke of Blue Rock Station to discuss one family's experience as they seek to live lightly on the land in the picture postcard village of Nery, France.
