As I watched the harrowing and tragic first episode of 9/11 on National Geographic, I couldn't help but think about how much our world has changed over the last 20 years. On that tragic day, there was no such thing as Facebook or Instagram and smartphones didn't even exist. Today on the Spiritual Spiral, I felt inspired to talk about how the world looks and feels so much different from 2001. And while there may be an overabundance of technology promising "connection" and "community", why does the world feel more divided and less connected. I talk about values, morality and I wonder if it's possible to create a sense of community in a world where the media and politicians are seemingly pinning us against one another? I also am thrilled to announce my new record, Dystopian Days, is available now on Bandcamp at eddiecohn.bandcamp.com. It hits Spotify towards the end of October but if you have a moment, I'd be so happy if you took a moment to listen. You can click HERE to listen.
