CrossWalk - Cross Culture Church RDU
Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
Spiritual gifts; if you’re a follower of Jesus, that’s a phrase you’ve probably heard before. Maybe you’ve even taken some sort of spiritual gift survey before. But exactly what are spiritual gifts and, who and what are they for?
In our series, “Crossroads - Where Faith and Culture Meet,” we’re studying the Apostle Paul’s letters to the church in Corinth. This week, we’re in 1 Corinthians chapter 12, where Paul writes about spiritual gifts. The church in Corinth had apparently become obsessed with one particular spiritual gift. As you’ll hear Pastor Clay say today, understanding the connection between chapters 12, 13, and 14 is the key to rightly understanding God’s purposes for spiritual gifts.
