Jesus told Peter, “You’re going to fail, but have faith. I won't fail you.” We’ll never arrive at a place here where we don’t need a Savior every day. God’s not so much disappointed with us as we are with ourselves in our failed expectations, and faith and hope won’t grow in the soil of wounded pride.
