In this episode, Nick interviews with Joe Langan, a PhD candidate and a Population and Ecosystem Dynamics Fellow in the National Marine Fisheries Service-Sea Grant Joint Fellowship at the University of Rhode Island. We chat about a whole bunch projects that Joe has been a part of or is currently working on, including understanding the decline of Winter Flounder, forecasting biomass of New England groundfish, Atlantic Cod: climate deniers?, and spatial sex-segregation in Summer Flounder. Joe is a wealth of information on the fisheries in Narragansett Bay and I hope that you all enjoy this episode as much as I did!
