In this sermon on the first Sunday of Advent, we think about the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth and the foretelling of the birth of John the Baptist.
We think about how God heard the cries of his people - and was preparing to send a Saviour. And we also think about how God also heard the cry of Zechariah and Elizabeth and their longing for a child - and how God is able to work at the macro and micro level!
