We have a feature interview with Yanna, aka @mellamoyanna, the CEO of Brown Sugar and Canela. Yanna is a proud Garifuna woman from North Carolina with Honduran heritage. Brown Sugar and Canela is an apparel company for strong women with a strong heritage based around Afro-Latinidad and Central American-ness. Sandra met up with Yanna on a trip to North Carolina to discuss her apparel company, #CentralAmericanTwitter, Garifuna identity, Leo men, and misogynoir in the Latinx community.
