Hello friends! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving or at least made it through the holiday unscathed. Multi-instrumentalist, freelance musician and all around awesome guy, Alex Marrero is my guest for episode 753! You might know Alex as the singer of latin funk supergroups, Brownout and Brown Sabbath, the percussionist of Golden Dawn Arkestra, the guitarist for The Sword's Doom Side of the Moon and many, many more. Doom Side of the Moon, a metal tribute to the classic Pink Floyd album at Emo's in Austin on Friday November 30th. We have a great conversation about performing Brown Sabbath for Ozzy himself, discovering the drums, becoming the singer of Brownout and much more! I had a great time getting to know Alex. I'm sure you will too. Let's get down!
Ciao! -JG
