WELCOME HEART: Living a Legacy Life
Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
Marva Smith is a writer, speaker, coach and all-around encourager and hails from the British Virgin Islands. She began writing at her website Sun, Sparkle, Shine to help her through the grief of the loss of her father.
More losses were to come, and she learned through each one that she found her true strength—not in herself, but in who God made her. She comes from a long line of Carribean strong women, and you will be strengthened as you hear her legacy of faith and dependence.
Marva is a Caribbean-based management consultant, leadership trainer, work and life strategist, and author. Yet, her favorite titles are daughter of God, wife to her husband of 17 years, and mom to two teens. As a Certified Life Breakthrough Coach she is passionate about equipping, inspiring and empowering women to thrive beyond the nine to five, and does this through her courses, coaching and online community Free to Thrive.
Her ideal day starts while it’s still dark with her Bible in one hand and coffee in the other.
Connect with Marva on her website MarvaSmith.com and on social media using the handle @marvatsmith on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. Life is too short to miss out on what matters.I get it. You’ve been giving your all to your work and career. But one day you turned around and something was missing.
It’s not that you don’t love what you do. It’s just that you know there’s more to life than work — if only you could find a way to balance it all. There never seems to be enough time to fit in the things you love.
You’re tired of striving and meeting everyone else’s expectations, only to leave the leftovers for the important people in your life. Or worse, you never have time to take care of you.
You’re wondering what it would look like to thrive — not just in work but in life too. Well, guess what? It’s totally possible because here’s what I know…
You were made for more.
