In 2015 Dr. Steve Arkin’s brilliant son Jason committed suicide while attending Northwestern University in Evanston. It was from this tragic event that Steve and his wife Dr. Karen Arkin decided to rise from the fiery ashes of this ultimate tragedy to found a foundation. They have united with others to break the silence and reduce the stigma surrounding all mental illness and suicide. Steve tells Jason’s story and Glenn opens up about his own experiences with mental illness. This show may help save someone’s life you love.
