Shel Talmy is a proper, old school, hands on producer, who started his career in LA working with members of the Wrecking Crew before finding a home in London. There he went on to work with The Kinks, The Who, cult band The Creation and even David Bowie, albeit 6 years too early! Here, Shel offers another fascinating insight into the 60s recording era.
