Just in time for Halloween, co-hosts Lisa and Lizzie review some horror film and book picks. Lisa shares her thoughts on two recent horror films, Relic and Gretel and Hansel, while new co-host Lizzie shares her thoughts on cult classic horror films The Craft and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Lisa also reviews Stephen Graham Jones’ horror novel The Only Good Indians, and Lizzie discusses her favorite short stories from Audrey Niffenegger’s horror anthology Ghostly.
All of the books and movies recommended can be found at the Shorewood Public Library, through another MCFLS library, or on hoopla.
