Sexy Sex Ed in Rural Appalachia - with Kirstyn Ooten

This week we are joined by Kirstyn Ooten, founder of Club Q (resource and support group for LGBTQ+ students across Appalachia) and educator with Sexy Sex Ed, a workshop series that compels teenagers and people of all ages to openly discuss personal and political consent, sexual safety, and anatomy. Kirstyn talks to us about what it's like tackling topics in Appalachia, what her journey was to get here, why some misconceptions about the region should be reconsidered, and all her work to support people in need.
