On the 18th February 1944, a daring low-level raid was flown by the Mosquitos of 2TAF's 140 Wing to break the walls of Amiens Prison and free members of the French Resistance. The raid has come to be known as Operation Jericho and has passed into legend, but not without some controversy. Joining us today to discuss the raid is the author of two books on the subject, historian Robert Lyman who will put us in with the resistance and the daring Mosquito crews as they knock the walls of the jail down.
