Knowing God With Heart and Mind
Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
The story of Babel profoundly expresses sin’s power to separate humans from their Creator and from each other. After the fall of Adam, humanity fell prey to the corruption outside Eden and under the rule of Satan and his subjects. In time, the LORD fulfilled the Old Covenant through His Son, the Messiah, and introduced a New Covenant that reversed the curse of Babel. For The first time since the fall of Adam, God’s people could be truly holy again. Sin’s canceled power opened the way back to Eden. The miracle that briefly removed language barriers, so that everyone heard the Gospel in their own language, proved that God means to break down the cultural and ethnic division born at Babel. The chosen people of God are the Body of Christ wherever they dwell. Please join the family at Shiloh for a Pentecost celebration this weekend.
