A Sermon from Parker Williams at Church of the Holy Cross. Ephesians 2:11-22.
What is the church supposed to look like? How do we live together amid family and interpersonal conflicts? The writer of Ephesians reminds us we are “now in Christ Jesus” and no longer strangers to God and no longer alienated from each other. Because of this we are now invited to experience radical transformation of our identity, both individually and communally – for the sake of others. These seven weeks will explore what life together looks like in a community when we ask the Spirit to make of us what we truly are "in Christ." A community that has been chosen by God, called out from the world and brought together, to experience “life together in the goodness of God.”
