A delicious mixed bag of goodies ends the Our Music Our Freedom podast series. We’re Featuring some standout musical highlights from Wandsworth's year as London borough of Culture: a world of East Asian sounds from the Celadon Club at Wandsworth Arts Fringe Festival, some classic cuts from Wandsworth Music at the Royal Albert Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, working on a programme devised by students with disabilities. Additional tasty musical revelations from over the last 5 decade - savour the flavour of more of the borough's most iconic musical happenings including T Rex, Punk and Rave - courtesy of Geoff Simmons, legendary local activist and community historian. Plus there’s the unmissable saga of Dub Vendor, the fabulous record shop and its Fashion Records label, a powerhouse of UK Reggae , dub, dancehall and black British music, skanking non-stop for the last 50 years, right here in Wandsworth.
