Today’s episode is with Sharon Salzberg, one of the founders of the Insight Meditation Society and author of a number of books, including ‘Faith’, ‘Loving Kindness’ and ‘Love Your Enemies’—co-authored with Bob Thurman. Sharon Salzberg was the first teacher I had when I first came to Buddhism, so it’s quite fitting that she’s the first Buddhist teacher I interview for Everything is Workable. She and I discuss lovingkindness, the strength and power of love, and how empathy and compassion are things we can all learn and cultivate over time.
