Matthew 10:16 KJV Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
In this message we learn what it means to be as harmless as a dove and as wise as a serpent. The prophet teaches that we should be harmless towards ourselves, other people, the church, and the kingdom of God. The example of the Madman of Gadara from Mark 5 and Luke 8 is given to explain how we should not be harmful towards ourselves. The prophet also teaches us what we need to master in order to become wise like a serpent.
