One of the most exciting things when coming to the Orisa Traditions was finding out about the process of becoming a Iyawo. I couldn't get enough of finding out about them. When I would see a person dressed all in white... my neck would almost break... I wanted to have their attention... I wanted to talk to them... I wanted to be them.
It is an exciting prospect to know... that in our path... We could be called to initiate into the mysteries of Orisa. But... how? What? How much? What does it take?
Listen to this very candid conversation with someone who at the time of this recording was a Iyawo. We are grateful for his time, and for him openly sharing his experiences with us.
