The book of Esther describes the Jewish as thriving in a muli-cultural empire. They took over the Persian empire and immediately began murdering their opponents. No one laid a finger on them -- the played the victim and did unto others what others never did to them (murder). There is no reference to the Patriarchs, Moses, or God in in the Book of Esther.
The Book of Esther established the fact that many people convert to Judaism:
"And many people of other nationalities became Jews because fear of the Jews had seized them." Esther 8:17
What made Paul a Jew? It wasn't where he was born and raised (Saul of Tarsus). It wasn't because he was a descendant of Judah (he was a descendant of Benjamin). It was his loyalty to those who opposed the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Jewish religion and the Jewish people.
There were 12 Apostles. Eleven were Galilean's and one was a Jew, Judas Iscariot (from southern Judea). Judas forsook Jesus Christ for his Jewish identity and people.
Many modern Jews are descendants of converss to Judaism (the synagogue of Satan).
