Knowing God With Heart and Mind
Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
You will experience the first of five messages in a series called “Perfect Love.” The series will focus on John Wesley’s concept of Perfecting Grace. These messages will help you better understand the unique nature of the Methodist movement; find inspiration for reclaiming the key Wesleyan doctrine of entire sanctification, and to discover how you can embrace and experience perfect love in your own life. The primary assertion Sunday is that the church family will be far less susceptible to the pandemic of secular-humanistic religion when its members devote themselves to discipleship and sanctification.
The primary resource material is Scripture, as always, and “Perfect Love: Recovering Entire Sanctification–The Lost Power of the Methodist Movement” by Kevin Watson. (www.seedbed.com/product/perfect-love).
