Part Two: after discussing what it was like to grow up with strict immigrant parents, Caroline asks Rachel a series of questions about her social media history and practice.
Rachel Nguyen is a fashion blogger and YouTube'r, also known on social media as That's Chic. While growing up in Orange County, California with strict immigrant parents, Rachel quickly learned that the internet was a space she could cultivate community and express herself creatively, and she was quite the early adopter with social media before it was even known by that name. (Anyone remember NeoPets?) She was also a blogger before that was a title, and has created an entire career from her passion and love for fashion.
