Cassandra Arnold has lived a truly fascinating life. At 34 years old with a young son, she decided she was going to go into medicine. The end goal? To become a doctor with Doctors Without Borders. After many years of working in emerg, working across Africa, retiring and moving to Canada, Cassandra has captured her experiences in books and in her artwork.
We talk about taking on a challenge like medicine as a single parent, the resilience required to work in hard hit countries, how doctors have been expecting a pandemic for quite some time and how we need to be more creative in our problem solving (in all areas of life).
