The Crime Couch with Rochelle Jackson

Former Inspector Larry Proud could be described as having a "colourful" background. However, that would be unfair as his career is so much more than that.
Larry was one of 32 Victoria Police members charged in the infamous Beach Inquiry. He was completely acquitted and went on to create the first Child Exploitation Unit; Delta Taskforce. He was an instructor at the Police Academy before working in PNG, Samoa and Cambodia.
Larry returned to Australia in 1998. he held senior executive roles in domestic and international public safety and justice sector reform before retiring earlier this year.
