Comunità Cenacolo run four Catholic residential programs in the US for people seeking to overcome substance abuse. The Comunità Cenacolo (Community of the Cenacle) name refers to the Upper Room was founded by Mother Elvira, who believed that prayer and the sacraments could heal the deep emotional wounds that led many young men and women to lose themselves in drugs and other destructive pastimes.
