Saeed Khan, currently in the Department of History and Lecturer in the Department of Near East & Asian Studies at Wayne State University-Detroit, Michigan, where he teaches Islamic and Middle East History, Islamic Civilizations and History of Islamic Political Thought, discusses how Ramadan has been accepted by Americans. Mr. Khan is also a Research Fellow at Wayne State University’s Center for the Study of Citizenship. He is also Adjunct Professor in Islamic Studies at the University of Detroit-Mercy and at Rochester College, co-teaching a course on Muslim-Christian Diversity.
Rawan Radwan, Arab News Deputy Section Editor and writer based in Saudi Arabia, discusses precautions and procedures that Saudi Arabia takes to protect pilgrims doing Hajj during Ramadan.

Former Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon served as Israel’s 17th Permanent Representative to the United Nations from October 2015. He currently serves as Chairman of the World Likud. At the UN, Danon became the first Israeli to lead a UN committee when he was elected Chairman of the Sixth (Legal) Committee in 2016. The following year, he served as Vice President of the General Assembly for its 72nd (2017-2018) session.
