Join us in this interview with Simon Hooper where we discuss how the digital age can enhance the quality of life for the older people in our communities.
Recently we interviewed Nicolas Kee Mew from Elsyng Care Home where he stressed how the digital age can enhance the wellbeing of the elderly. In this webinar we take this one stage further.
Simon Hooper has developed a project and App that brings care homes, the elderly living at home together with service providers, friends and indeed entertainment. It is a service that also links in with Alexa so easily accessible for older people
By using block chain technology he ensures that the information is secure and can be used by those involved to improve the wellbeing of the elderly without their information being stolen by others.
It is a system that also uses tokens as payments similar to those used by time banks and baby sitting circles so there is no exclusion by those unable to afford the exchanges that take place.
It is a very innovative idea that Simon has been working on for a considerable time because of his own passion of developing a quality of life for us all as we get older.
