In this lecture the current research on chiropractic as it applies to an evidence based, subluxation and wellness model will be discussed. The development of a patient centered, shared decision making model for the clinical management of patients based on the principles of chiropractic are inextricably intertwined with the importance of research to the chiropractic profession and its clinical meaningfulness.
