WD was supposed to be an in-person event, but when COVID hit before the first sale, she moved everything online and it took off. She built the business mostly alone, lost their 30k-follower Instagram in Oct 2022, rebuilt from zero, and had her best year in 2023 before burning out and planning to close. Bonnie had become close with Liz Streisand, a former celebrity journalist who ran a Broadway ticketing company with her husband Eric, a longtime hedge fund manager.
