Vincent Jay Vanston, MD FAAHPM HMDCB has been working in the field of Hospice and Palliative Medicine for over 25 years. His work now involves hospice care, hospital-based Palliative Medicine consultation, and medical education. Mary Lynn McPherson, PharmD, MA, MDE, BCPS is a Professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) and Executive Director of Advanced Post-Graduate Education. She developed the online Master of Science, Graduate Certificate and PhD Programs in Palliative Care at UMB, and teaches in several courses. She has practiced in hospice and palliative care her entire career, and is a prolific speaker and author in palliative care.
