Episode List

Rook Coffee

Dec 18th, 2019 2:08 PM

Rook Coffee was started by childhood friends, Holly and Shawn to bring delicious and well-crafted coffee to New Jersey. But they've grown way beyond the Garden State thanks to their thoughtful branding, likeability and subscription service. Rook Coffee can now be found in coffee-loving homes around the world thanks to their delivery service, stickers can be found on signs, stores, walls, and cars everywhere. The bar is raised in the coffee world thanks to Rook, and I see big things in their future.

Attilio’s Pizzeria

Dec 10th, 2019 2:35 PM

Attilio’s Pizzeria is a Freehold, New Jersey staple and has been for years. I say that not only because it's directly next to Staples on Route 9, but because it has been around for many years. Marco, the new owner of Attilio’s Pizzeria, has turned the place around since he bought the restaurant. Before him, it was going downhill as far as food quality goes. Now, Attilio’s Pizzeria is doing modern marketing to its customers through their mobile app, Facebook and Instagram.

Rob Dekanski

Feb 5th, 2019 1:00 PM

Rob Dekanski is a New Jersey realtor whos marketing campaign is that he will buy your house if your house doesn't sell on the market. Rob has billboards, radio spots, online ads and more. His personal brand shines until you visit one of his websites. At that point the experience transforms from Rob to ReMax. My recommendation for Rob is to continue the personal experience into the websites.

Red Roof Inn

Dec 4th, 2018 12:32 PM

Red Roof Inn is a chain of hotels around the world. One of their hotels opened up in Freehold, New Jersey after taking over a for a hotel on Route 9 which closed a while back. Even though the company renovated the building, the sign on the property is always missing letters. They also replaced the roof of the building but didn't make it red. My advice is about the little things that brands do or do not do.

Ray Catena

Sep 12th, 2018 2:00 PM

Ray Catena is known around New Jersey for being one of the leading luxury car dealership chains. I recently drove past a new billboard across the highway from where their new Jaguar & Land Rover dealership is opening. But to my surprise, the billboard was a little too generic. So in this episode, I will share my suggestions as to how they can improve it.
