Great Things About Menopause
Welcome to a warm, honest conversation about life after 50 and why menopause can actually bring incredible new beginnings. If you are navigating perimenopause or menopause, you deserve to hear about the upsides: calmer moods, the freedom to finally speak your mind, no more birth control, and the joy of having much more fun. This is a space for positive, pro-aging support where we normalize real talk—yes, even saying the word "period"—and focus on how you can step boldly into this vibrant next chapter of life. As someone who navigated serious health scares to launch a record label at 57, the goal here is to show you that your biggest dreams are still ahead of you. There is exciting music news on the horizon, including the re-release of an album with enhanced sound, daily song drops, an instrumental album crafted specifically for creators, and even a sultry new menopause song! It is all part of a larger movement to help women over 50 embrace exactly who they are right now and celebrate the journey. The time has come to start that one thing you have been continually putting off and begin choosing how you want to show up in the world. Try embracing the "label of the day" concept to explore new roles, discover fresh hobbies, and confidently "pick your label" as you redefine your future. Whether you want to try something completely out of your comfort zone or simply find peace in your daily routine, you have the power to step into the role you've always wanted. If You Feel Stuck, Watch This (The Moment Everything Changed)
TL;DR Sometimes it takes an outside force to help us slow down. Wisdom comes from trials & problem solving When you're struggling, there's only one way to go It's never too late Sometimes life feels like we've fallen into a hole. Running, pushing, fixing everything for everyone else - and suddenly you realize you're exhausted, overwhelmed, and not even sure how you got there. In this episode of Fabulous Over 50: The Jen Hardy Show, Jen talks about the moment when you stop running long enough to notice where you are, breathe, and realize something important: the climb out starts with peace, not panic. Women over 50 are carrying a lot right now—caregiving, career changes, health shifts, empty nests, aging parents, and the quiet question of "what now?" If you've been feeling stuck in life, burned out, or like you're trying to solve everything at once, this conversation will resonate. Jen walks through the simple idea of labeling the day, slowing down the chaos, and recognizing that the moment you stop the frantic running, things are already getting better. Today's labels move through a powerful shift: Fallen. Still. Free. This episode is about pausing long enough to find your footing again, remembering that peace is possible even when life feels messy, and realizing that climbing out doesn't require perfection—just one calm step at a time. The Power of Friendship
Today I got to see a couple of people haven't seen in a long time and he caught me to thinking about how important friendship truly is. We all know it, but are we spending the time that we should cultivate those friendships? My dearest friend in the world lives in Tokyo and I don't get to talk to her very often but today I found a shirt that says Tokyo in huge letters on the front and it made me so happy because now when I create a video and I'm wearing it, she'll know the second she scrolled through my channel that I was thinking of her. It may be small and it may be silly, but it's just something that made me feel really good and I wanted to share. I don't want to encourage you to reach out to your friends and let them know you care about them. Thank you for joining me today! What's Stopping You?
Are you over fifty and ready to make the rest of your life the best of your life? In this episode of the Fabulous Over 50 podcast, we're diving deep into the power of living intentionally, chasing your dreams, and moving forward—no matter your age or what life has thrown at you. Living the Life You Love—At Any Age As someone who has seen my share of doctor's offices, I want to share a recent experience that really hit home. I was chatting with a fellow patient—a man in his late 60s—who was getting ready for a trip to the Amazon. It was such a beautiful reminder that adventure doesn't have an age limit. We have to refuse to let a number or a setback define what is possible for us. It's Never Too Late to Pursue Your Dreams I want to ask you: If you could do anything in the world—for fun, for work, or just because—what would it be? I know life presents challenges, but it is never too late to take that first step. So many of us say, "One day, when the kids are grown," or "when I have more money." But let's be real—those are often just excuses that keep us stuck. You deserve to start now. Embracing Change and Forward Motion I've had my share of ups and downs, from being a single mom in LA making $9 an hour to finally following my dreams here by the ocean. I like to think of life like a train; people get on and off at different stops, and that's okay. My message to you is simple: Don't let your past prevent you from moving forward. There are beautiful things waiting for you if you just choose to keep going. Community and Connection Matter Whether I'm watching rocket launches from my front yard or swimming with the manatees, I've learned that happiness comes from your attitude and your actions, not from having "perfect" circumstances. We're in this together. I want you to reach out and tell me what you're excited about. As we look toward everything 2026 has in store, I can promise you one thing: it might not be perfect, but it can absolutely be fabulous. You just have to be willing to try. Ready to move forward? I'd love to hear what exciting adventure or goal you're chasing. Connect with me at jenhardy.net/contact. Remember, you're never alone, and the best is yet to come!
