Holiday Break!
Well, it's that time of year---the holidays. Because of that and also because I actually only just got discharged from the hospital after a week-long stay thanks to a fairly involved surgery, I think this makes for a great time to take a short break. I'm sure you'd been eagerly counting on spending your holiday break listening to Tempest, but fear not: there are two and a half seasons of back episodes you can listen or re-listen to! And, anyway, waiting makes the heart grow fonder. Or something like that. Either way, Tempest will be back sometime in January, 2025 ideally right around when your holiday hangover hits hardest and you need a boost. In the meantime, remember: if you have any stories you think would be a good fit for Tempest then send me an email at obuchowski.david at gmail. HAPPY HOLS! Hosted on Acast. The Children of Weird Car Owners
On this episode of Tempest, you'll hear from some very spirited children (including my own daughter) who share their opinions about their parents' unique cars...and also about their parents! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Identity
On this episode, Tempest creator and host, David Obuchowski, wonders what his car---a 1989 Peugeot 405 Mi16---says about him. He meets acquaintances and strangers to put that very question to them. Explore how cars are tangled up in our identities, and discover not only what cars say about us, but what they might lead others to ask. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Thanksgiving Break!
Tempest Season 3 returns on Thursday, December 5th. But in the meantime, if you have a story you think would be a good fit for Tempest, please reach out. Send an email to my gmail account. The handle is obuchowski.david. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Spitfire
Eric's father rode one of the fastest production motorcycles in the world. Eric, on the other hand, couldn't hit 25 mph without shaking. But then, tragedy. But from tragedy, purpose, love, and an undeniable connection that transcends death. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
