She digs into the folklore behind the site, from Satan's midnight planning sessions to the eerie scientific explanations researchers have tried (and failed) to pin down. Then Kerri takes us into one of the most haunting true crime cases of the 1920s: the disappearance of nine-year-old Walter Collins from Los Angeles, and the "Changeling" scandal that followed when police tried to pass off an impostor child as him. She traces the chilling threads connecting Walter's case to the horrifying crimes of Gordon Stewart Northcott, the man behind the Wineville Chicken Coop Murders, and whether Walter may have been one of his victims.
