As a wrap-up of HCA resident Erik Peters' first solo exhibition “From Then To Here”, Kumbirai Makumbe, Liminal Vision, Louisa Teichmann, Federico Poni, Camilo Garcia, and Erik Peters himself, gather around the table to reflect on their process of collaboration.The exhibition 'From Then To Here' was built upon the practice of collaborative world-building and proposes a collective quest of sense-making and imagination. Through the works of the aforementioned artists, it explored the plurality of future narratives. Architecture City - 12 - Architecture on show neemt je mee in de wereld van de architectuurtentoonstelling. We spreken met Paul Kempers die een biografie schreef over Jean Leering. Deze idealist, mentor, schrijver en gentleman-activist gaf architectuur het podium in het Van Abbemuseum waar hij directeur was. Ook onze gast is Sergio Figueiredo, hoofd van de Curatorial Research Collective aan de TU Eindhoven en schrijver van The NAieffect, een boek over het Nederlands Architectuurinstituut als de plek waar Nederlandse architectuurcultuur gestalte kreeg. Tot slot praten we met de kersverse directeur van Internationale Architectuur Biënnale Rotterdam, Saskia van Stein. Wat zijn voor haar de belangrijkste ervaringen en lessen uit de ca. zeventig tentoonstellingen over design en architectuur die zij eerder maakte bij onder andere het NAi en Bureau Europa? En wat zijn haar plannen met de Biënnale?

In this podcast, we will be exploring the themes and subject matter of the work of Visual artist and documentarist Lavinia Xausa whose current project focuses on questions as to why, in contemporary society, more and more people gather around groups with a strong identity and unity such as political supporters, football fans, online communities, etc. Joining Lavinia is Jacco van Sterkenburg who is a researcher working as an endowed professor in race, inclusion, and communication, specifically in relation to football and media and Rotterdam local and Feyenoord supporter Joia Wienstra.
