Unswerving Hope: Ramona Tuma's Story of Faith and Survival

Mar 1st, 2026 3:48 PM

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:23   In this powerful episode, Jenny sits down with Ramona Tuma to share a testimony of unwavering faith through unimaginable trials. After overcoming child sexual abuse, an abusive marriage and abduction of her children by her ex-husband, Ramona thought she had survived the worst. Then she learned the ex-husband had hired a hit man to end her life. Through it all, she learned to trust God deeply—finding healing, forgiveness, and renewed hope. Today, she is remarried, thriving, and serving as a speaker, Bible teacher, and author of Prisoner of Hope: Captured by Grace. In this conversation, Ramona opens up about her teen rebellion, the pain she endured, her journey toward forgiveness, and the health challenges that tested her faith once again. She reminds us that no hardship is wasted in God's hands. Through her hard-gained wisdom and her trust in God, she personifies hope, endurance and faith! This episode is a moving reminder that even in life's darkest moments, hope can remain unswerving.  You can find more about Ramona and order her books at ramonatumi.com and Amazon.
