Joel McCarty • He Must Increase • The followers of John the Baptist were bothered that Jesus' followers were also baptizing people, and their response revealed their heart. But John wasn't bothered. He knew that for the Kingdom of God to advance in the world, that he must decrease and Jesus must increase.

Joel McCarty • New Birth • Nicodemus came to Jesus wanting to know how his status in the Kingdom of God could be enhanced. But Jesus sees into the heart of man, and he challenges Nicodemus that entrance into the Kingdom is based not on ethnicity, pedigree, or theological prowess. Entrance into God's Kingdom must be predicated by new birth, which is wrought only through the work of Jesus by the Spirit in our lives. This is why God sent Jesus into the world - to save sinners. The gospel is not a formula to be followed, but a truth to be proclaimed and believed.

John 2:13-25

Alexander Wade • Legend of the Hidden Temple • Jesus didn't come to simply tweak the old system and clean it up a bit. With His arrival, He was bringing a whole new way and flipping the status quo on its head. In the presence of Jesus, manipulation of God for earthly gain wouldn't be tolerated. But even in a world that had missed the point of the temple, there was hope. Because a better temple was here. (*Sermon by guest preacher.)

John 2:1-12

Joel McCarty • Let's Party • Contrary to popular opinion, Jesus didn't walk around all the time as a somber ascetic. You could often find Him at parties and celebrations, hanging out with His own disciples and sinners alike. But what distinguished Jesus from others was that He never forgot the reason for the party. Resurrection was coming, and that was reason for celebration.

John 1:35-51

Joel McCarty • Come & See • The invitation into the life of Jesus is one that is open for anyone. We are invited to simply come and see if Jesus is who He says He is. And long before we ever saw Jesus, we were seen by Him. This is good news.
