An armed Brinks truck robbery turns into a high-speed police pursuit reaching nearly 130 MPH — and ends with one of the most intense police bodycam encounters I’ve ever covered. On January 21, 2026, police in Elyria, Ohio responded after an armed suspect robbed a Brinks armored truck outside an AT&T store. What followed was a rapidly escalating series of events involving a Honda HR-V, a police pursuit through residential streets and highways, a crash, a foot chase, and an armed suspect desperately trying to escape. And that's about as much as I'm going to tell you. This episode is a little different from the usual Music City 911. There’s plenty to analyze from the 911/public-safety side, but the sheer number of increasingly unfortunate decisions made along the way demanded a slightly different approach.
